"Improving" — a cycle of paintings, to which new works are periodically added.
In the first works the artist used acrylic, in the later works she used tempera, which maximally conveys the theme of "blood of life", passionarity, because the constant improvement and development of living objects of the world is connected with energy content.

In Ai Weiwei’s apt statement, the creation of a painting is akin to a game of chess, with the sequence of moves and the intrigue of the game. In this series, the game is alive and well.
