Raisa Graf lives and works in Moscow.
The artist’s main medium is painting, in the creation of which Raisa uses the painstaking technique of numerous washes of layers of acrylic or tempera. She also creates sculptures on the basis of wooden cubes.
The main theme of the artist is ontological research of the structure of the world, its topology. Dialogue and interaction with the world of objects (including plant objects) through the play with the material. The fluidity and multilayeredness of the material, the collision of rigid structure and rhythm play an important role in the production of artistic form.
Member of the Creative Union of Artists of Russia since 2017. Collaborates with 159f Gallerie, Q-art Gallery, AG Gallery. Works are placed on the platforms Cube. Market, BIZAR, ART Online24.

Many of her paintings oppose structure and rhizomic forms as the archetypal basis of all flat ontologies. The artist’s main medium is painting, but Graf also creates sculptural objects. When creating paintings, the artist uses a painstaking technique of layered washes.
Ontology from this perspective is the study of the phenomena of dialog with the nonhuman as a fluid, multilayered material. Dialogue develops as Wittgenstein’s language game, from the artist’s side the comprehension of the phenomenon and her own response in the form of an achromatic antiform.
